At Portes Lorenzo, one of our lesser-known lines of business is pallets.
We have light vehicles and are capable of moving pallets in record time, meaning we can load and unload in less than an hour, depending on the postal code.
Typically, most pallet shipments made using large networks are loaded and unloaded within 48 to 72 hours. We have created an innovative, simple, yet effective and efficient model for pallet transport, which involves loading and unloading the goods directly.
Requirements and conditions for the transport of pallets
For this type of transport, it's important that the goods weigh no more than one ton, and that there be loading and unloading facilities for an industrial van on both sides. Sometimes, if the client doesn't have these facilities, manual handling can also be used to transport the goods to their final destination.
Typically, loading and unloading involves a mechanical bull, a stacker, a dock, or simply a ramp for subsequent unloading into vans.
